'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story: New character posters and aliens on Jedha
A new set of character posters of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” have surfaced online. The pictures give the fans a closer look at some of the non-human characters who are a part of the Rebel Alliance against the Empire. Another video released online teases the world of Jedha.
The trailers of the upcoming movie mostly focus on the human characters of the Rebel team that is tasked with stealing the plans for the Death Star. There are, however, a number of non-human characters who will also play an important role in the attack.
Fans may remember seeing Bistan in the Celebration Reel that was released in July. A character poster of the character has now been posted on the Twitter page of Channel Star Wars. The character was seen as the gunner on a ship in the previously released video, and the new picture reveals the character is played by Nick Kellington.
Next it’s Edrio Two Tubes. The picture of this character from “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is very similar to the one that was released online. Another character in the film is Raddus. The picture of the character reveals him to be a sub-species of Mon Calamari, to which Admiral Ackbar belongs. Both these new characters have been played by actor Paul Kasey.
Meanwhile, Egmont Publishing has released a video online introducing the new “Star Wars: Galactic Atlas” book that has been illustrated by Tim McDonagh. The book shares details about the different planets in the fictitious galaxy, and there are also details about the desert moon Jeddha, which is featured in the upcoming movie.
Jeddha is a spiritual place and the homeworld of Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen) and Baze Malbus (Wen Jiang). The two characters are partners, and will join the Rebels in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
