'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' spoilers: Major character to cameo; details about who gave information to Rebels revealed
A major known character will reportedly make a cameo appearance in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” A new report suggests that there may be multiple cameos of characters who are now dead in the movie franchise.
[Spoiler alert]
According to a report by Making Star Wars, recent rumours suggest that Han Solo will make a cameo appearance in the movie. The role of the character will be similar to the role of BoShek (Frances Alfred Basil Tomlin) in “Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.” The Rebels will apparently approach Han Solo in the movie, but he will simply direct them to others who may be interested in the job.
There are also rumours that Jabba the Hutt will be the one who will help get the relevant information to the Rebels. There is also the possibility that the Bounty hunters from the movie “Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back” such as Bossk, Dengar, 4-LOM, Zuckuss, and IG-88 will make an appearance in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” Some of the bounty hunters from “The Clone Wars” TV series are also expected to appear.
Perhaps the most popular bounty hunter in the franchise is Boba Fett. Fett, along with the bounty hunter Cad Bane, who appeared in the animation series, may appear in the movie.
The Rebels will also reportedly make a trip to Dagobah, where Master Yoda is in hiding. However, the Jedi Master refuses to help the Rebels and they leave empty handed. It is still not clear which of the above mentioned characters will actually make it to the movie.
The Rebels will eventually hire bounty hunters played by Donnie Yen and Wen Jiang. Details about the bounty hunter characters played by the two actors have not been revealed yet.
The main plot of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” revolves around the Rebels stealing the plans of the Death Star super weapon from the Empire. The movie is slated to be released on Dec. 16 in Australia.
