'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' spoilers: New pictures surface online

A new set of images of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” have surfaced online. Most of the pictures show the Rebel Army team. There is also a new picture of the main villain Director Orson Krennic on board the Death Star of an Imperial Star Destroyer.

Pictures posted on Making Star Wars show the Rebels on the planet where they will attack the Imperial forces in order to steal the plans for the Death Star. There is a behind the scenes picture of director Gareth Edwards on the exotic location where a major battle will take place. One of the new movie stills shows Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) in an action sequence.

A picture of Jyn Erso appears to be teasing her first interaction with Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen). Chirrut is one of the members of the Rebel Team that will be tasked with stealing the plans of the Death Star in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

Will Jyn and Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) go on a recruiting mission before they attack the Empire? The picture of Jyn talking to Chirrut shows the latter begging on the streets. The character is blind, but he uses his stick with devastating effect; the trailer of the movie has teased.

Two other major members of the team are Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed) and Baze Malbus (Wen Jiang). There is also a reprogrammed imperial droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) that will be sent to aid the Rebels.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is a highly anticipated first spin-off movie from the franchise. The film is set to be released on Dec. 15 in Australia. Some of the other cast members of the movie are Mads Mikkelsen (Galen Erso), Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa), Forest Whitaker (Saw Gerrera), James Earl Jones (voice of Darth Vader) and Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma).
