'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' theory: Darth Vader introduction and meditation scene
A new theory about “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” looks at the way in which Darth Vader will be introduced in the film, and also another big scene. The character will only have a brief role in the movie, as the main villain is Director Orson Krennic.
[Spoiler alert]
A new theory posted on the YouTube channel of Mike Zeroh suggests that the first scene of Darth Vader in the upcoming movie could be about the Sith Lord getting a new pair of limbs. Mike points out that previous rumours about the character have stated that the character will get new limbs, and there will be a scene showing the character exchange his legs.
Mike believes that this would be an excellent scene to show the struggles of Darth Vader. After getting new limbs, the Sith Lord can stand up, walk around and then give orders to Imperial officers.
In another video about “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” Mike suggests that the movie could also show the meditation chamber of Darth Vader, which was last seen in the original trilogy. Mike explains that Disney would be interested in introducing a new generation of fans to the franchise, and these young fans may not know about the Sith Lord.
The meditation chamber scene in the original trilogy firmly established that Darth Vader is a deformed human being who uses the suit to stay alive. The upcoming movie may need a scene like that to reveal that to the young fans. Besides, the older fans who have watched the original trilogy may feel nostalgic after seeing the meditation chamber.
Mike says that “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” may show the meditation chamber scene in a way that doesn’t copy the scene in “Empire Strikes Back.” There will be one big scene of the Sith Lord, the producers have confirmed, and Mike believes that there will be a few scenes that will set up that big scene.
