The Rolling Stones concert at the Adelaide Oval in Australia will finally happen on March 22, 2014! That's great news for Aussie music fans, as well as fans of its famous members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It's just in time for the celebration of the $535 million redeveloped stadium's opening in 2014.

The Rolling Stones band members are Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts. Previous members of the band include Ian Stewart, Bill Wyman, Dick Taylor, Mick Taylor, Tony Chapman and Brian Jones. In 1962, the legendary rock band was formed in London, England. Aside from rock and roll, the band's musical genres also include rhythm and blues.

The Rolling Stones member Mick Jagger, even posted a tweet about their band's 2014 concert at the Adelaide Oval in Australia. He said that he was excited for the show, especially to be the first band ever to perform at the said venue. Check out his tweet below.

It has been almost 20 years since The Rolling Stones has performed in Adelaide.

According to the Adelaide Oval's official Web site, Premier of South Australia Jay Weatherill has just confirmed that the Australian Government will allot $450,000 to ensure the security of The Rolling Stones.

Before the scheduled Rolling Stones concert in 2014, the band has been touring worldwide to perform in various concerts in different parts of the globe, including Paris, France, Brooklyn, New York (NY), Newark, New Jersey (NJ), Los Angeles, California (CA), Oakland, Anaheim and San Jose, CA, Toronto, Ontario (ON) and London, UK where they performed at the Hyde Park. They were also part of the 2013 Glastonbury Festival in UK. Plus, they visited Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA), Boston, Massachusetts (MA), Las Vegas, Nevada (NV) and Montreal, Quebec (QC).

Tickets for the Rolling Stones concert at the Adelaide Oval in Australia which will happen on March 22, 2014, will be on sale starting Nov. 25, 2013 (Monday) at 9am ACST (Australian Central Standard). Watch out for the pre-sale of tickets from Nov. 21, 2013 (Thursday) at 11am ACST up to 6pm ACST on Nov. 22 (Friday).
