The Rolling Stones is set to have a 2014 New Zealand (NZ) show. This news comes after the heels of the rock band's official announcement of The Rolling Stones concert at the Adelaide Oval March 22, 2014.

According to The New Zealand Herald, Frontier Touring, The Rolling Stones concert promoter, has reported the possibility of the legendary band having a 2014 concert in NZ.

"One New Zealand show will be announced in the next few weeks," Frontier Touring representative said to The New Zealand Herald.

The Rolling Stones performed for the first time in Auckland's Western Springs in 1973. The last time the rock band was in NZ was way back in 2006, when they performed at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington and Western Springs in Auckland. The band's guitarist Keith Richards had a memorable time in NZ after their 2006 shows because he had to undergo a cranial surgery operation in Auckland after falling from a tree in Fiji. He had to be rushed to the hospital after suffering from a head injury.

The group would probably perform in Auckland again for the 2014 show. Another option for the venue of The Rolling Stones 2014 NZ show is at the Mt. Smart Stadium, which is also situated in Auckland. This venue has been booked by Frontier Touring for major acts like Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band.

The Rolling Stones recently performed at Hyde Park in London and at the Glastonbury Festival 2013.
