These two women have badmouthing each other for so long now that the only thing missing is actual action in the Octagon.

Days after Cris "Cyborg" Justino claimed UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was ducking her, Rowdy responds with fresh comments that will sure re-ignite the rivalry with the perceived best women in mixed martial arts sports. Rowdy responded with strongly worded retaliations and a brought up the suspension of Justino due to the use of performance-enhancing supplements.

"I'm the champion," Rousey as reported by MMAFighting.com. "I fight whoever comes up. She's the one who has options, not me. I'm exactly where I was when she left and she can come back and give it a try anytime. She'll get what she deserves. She really embarrassed not just women's MMA and the sport, she embarrassed her country, as well. I'm happy to set it straight."

The two fighters are not scheduled to meet, just yet. Rousey is set to face come backing brawler Cat Zingano in one of the preliminary fights to the January 3 UFC 182 event between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier. Justino is set to drop to 135 lbs. and test her mettle this December 4 at Invicta FC 10. The two sides, if both emerge triumphant, could be pitted against each other by March. UFC President Dana White was quoted as saying that after the January bout, his ward, Rousey is eager to fight again in March.

Rousey has been adamant on taking on all-comers, even engaging word wars with another Rousey opponent-hopeful, Bethe Correia. The long-standing rivalry against Justino is what fans perceive to be the biggest challenge to the undefeated champion. Rowdy has been long known for her judo game and her submission by arm bar while Justino prefers the face-up striking action.

The undefeated champion and rising movie star also turned the tables on Justino citing that it was the Brazilian jiu-jitsu artist who was avoiding her. She pointed out that when the UFC required an out-of-competition drug testing program, Justino chose to be released and when Rowdy was the Strikeforce champion at 145, Justino went down to 135 to duck her.

Rowdy stressed the only way to settle everything once and for all is to meet at 135 lbs. and decide who will come out victorious in the Octagon.
