Ronda Rousey Likes Being Called ‘Slaughterhouse In A Blouse’
Rap legend Eminem just propelled Ronda Rousey to greater fame and authenticated her popularity by including the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion in the lyrics of his new track under the "Shady XV" album. The American rapper and record producer mentioned Rowdy in the lyrics which described her as a "slaughterhouse in a blouse."
Rousey had a guest appearance in the Jimmy Kimmel Show Thursday and was asked on how she felt on being included in the list of popular personalities who have graced an Eminem song. While Eminem has been mum on whether she was dissing or complimenting the judo artist, Rousey did not give much thought on the intention of the best-selling artist in the 2000s but rather was "cool" on the idea of being mentioned in the song.
"He's an artist and art isn't meant to be nice; it's meant to make you feel something," Rousey told Kimmel during the interview segment. "I like being called a slaughterhouse in a blouse. I think that's cool. I'm not perfect, but parts of me are pretty awesome and I think if Eminem took the ass Pepsi Challenge, he would totally pick me as his favorite."
Rousey has been making the rounds of Hollywood lately. After appearing in her debut film, "The Expendables 3," the undefeated UFC star is set to star in two more movies in the latest Fast and the Furious movie and the movie version of hit television series "Entourage." She has also been recently named as celebrity endorser of branded jeans wear Buffalo David Briton.
While Rousey has been busy with her commitments outside the Octagon, the Olympic bronze medalist is still committed full time to mixed martial arts. She is scheduled to defend her bantamweight title anew against number two contender Cat Zingano. Rousey and Zingano are co-headliners of UFC 184 alongside the middleweight title match between Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort. The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California will host the matches.
