Colour commentator Joe Rogan is thrust to the spotlight again after controversial remarks that he would not mind seeing a man and a woman get at it in the Octagon. In particular, he refers to UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and long-time rival and nemesis, Bryan Caraway.

During his "Fight Companion" podcast, the former Fear Factor host touched up on the subject of a transgender battling a woman in the UFC. The subject veered into the hypothetical pairing of a man and a woman, keeping in mind the recent comments made by Rousey that pitting a man against a woman in live television is not good for the game and that it should only be confined in a training setting. Rogan thinks otherwise and offers an expletive-laden barrage on the subject.

"I think a 135-pound chick should be able to fight a 135-pound dude, " Rogan said. "I think if Ronda Rousey and Bryan Caraway talked enough s**t and they decided to go at it, I don't have any problem with that if they both agree to it."

Rousey has a long standing feud with Caraway who is Meisha Tate's boyfriend. Before Rowdy snatched away the belt from the Strikeforce champion Tate, Caraway took to twitter his imagined bout with Rowdy saying that he would knock the teeth of the UFC darling and break her arm.

The conflict even carried on to The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality show where Rousey and Tate both served as coaches. Caraway pointed out that the show revealed the kind of character Rousey when she showed her aggressive side. Proof of which are instances when the movie actress showed her middle finger aimed at one of the contestants and the numerous verbal barbs she directed at Tate's wards.

Given the animosity between, Rogan seems to be enthusiastic on pairing a controversial match which in all likelihood will never reach the subject of a UFC meeting. For now, the fans will have to be content with the upcoming bout of Rousey against Cat Zingano in Las Vegas, Jan. 31.
