Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared in a film that grossed over $1.1 billion but it was reported that the actress has no interest in the role for the follow-up of Michael Bay's "Transformers 4."

The model joined the franchise's third film "Dark of The Moon" last year as Shia LaBeouf's love interest replacing Megan Fox.

Series director, Michael Bay, has confirmed that he will direct another "Transformers" film with actor Josh Duhamel. Meanwhile, Duhamel later claimed that the film will have an entirely different cast.

Insiders now appear to have given credence to the claim by saying that Huntington-Whiteley has chosen to leave her role. Josh Duhamel, who has starred in all of the first three "Transformers" movies, admitted that he does not believe any of the regulars or original cast members will be coming back for "Transformers 4."

"I don't think anybody's doing it. I know Shia LaBeouf is not doing it. I don't think Tyrese Gibson or Rosie or anybody else is doing it," Duhamel said.

"Rosie enjoyed being in the third film but action's not really her bag," a source told The Mirror.

"She doesn't want to get typecast," the source added. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a highly sought-after model, has no other film interests ongoing.

Jason Statham has been tipped to become the main character in "Transformers 4" but the actor has admitted that he has not yet been approached to do the movie.

"Transformers 4" is expected to be released in the summer of 2014.
