Royal Couple News: Kate Middleton to Give Birth in July, Prince William Posted ‘Household Help’ Ad [SLIDESHOW]
Royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton is expected to welcome their first child in July, St. James's Palace confirmed. Palace officials added that the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge's health condition is already improving after experiencing attacks of acute morning sickness.
"The Duchess's condition continues to improve. The two are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," St. James Palace declared in a statement. This announcement could perhaps put a stop to speculations that Kate Middleton is pregnant with twins.
St. James Palace has not confirmed whether the Royal couple's first baby is a boy or a girl. The British Government is reportedly revising the old Royal succession laws which will guarantee that if Kate Middleton gives birth to a girl, the Royal daughter will be given equivalent claiming rights to the throne.
Prince William posted an advertisement that says a household help is needed. It appears Kate Middleton needs a servant's assistance in handling everyday chores as well as taking care of the baby.
According to Sunday Express, the job advertisement was posted internally at the Buckingham Palace. The job description reads: "To provide a high standard of housekeeping for TRH (Their Royal Highnesses), The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Main duties included: ensuring all areas of the residence are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times. Caring for and maintaining TRH personal clothing, cleaning silver- ware and glassware and in-house laundry. Attention to detail, together with a flexible and pro-active approach is essential."
The advertisement spread immediately and attracted the palace staff. The Sunday Express added the household help must possess a valid U.K. driver's license.
The hired Royal servant must assist the Royal couple especially when they start transferring to their newly renovated home at Kensington Palace this year. Prince William, who grew up in Kensington Palace, will still share house space and mingle with the other Royal family members residing in the property.
