Royal Secrets: 'Princess Di' Had Sex With Calvary Officer, Close Pal Says
Simone Simmons, Princess Diana's close friend, cited the Princess of Wales had sex with a Cavalry Officer.
According to Simmons, she and the princess discussed the latter's lovelife and knew of the late princess' affair with James Hewitt, a Cavalry officer. Hewitt was reportedly hired as a tutor for Princes Harry's and William's riding lessons. Simmons said Hewitt was "fireworks" for Princess Diana.
The Daily Mail reported Princess Diana sent love letters to James Hewitt. There were 64 letters all in all dated between 1989 and 1991.
In a 2011 interview, the former Army officer declared that he "considered shooting himself" when his affair with Princess Diana ended in 1991.
In August 1997, Diana acknowledged the affair with James Hewitt. Rumors about Prince Harry's paternity later circulated saying that Hewitt is Prince Harry's real father. Hewitt, however, said Harry was born before the affair.
Simmons said after James Hewitt, Princess Diana fell for Will Carling but did not mention if the two ever met in private. She also claimed the Princess of Wales had an affair with Oliver Hoare.
Will Carling, whom Diana met at an exclusive gym, insists that they were friends instead of lovers?
James Gilbey, another man who was allegedly one of Princess Diana's boyfriends, while still married to Prince Charles never admitted the affair to the press.
Another friend of Princess Diana, Lucia Flecha de Lima told the media that Diana only loved one man and that is Prince Charles.
After the screening of the film "Diana" in de Lima's native country of Brazil, she told reporters that Princess Diana was never "in love with Dodi Fayed" or Hasnat Khan.
De Lima did not mention any of Princess Diana's alleged lovers while the late princess was still married to the Prince of Wales.
Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997. While it was ruled as an accident, conspiracy theorists believed that Princess Diana was disposed of.
On a Dec. 15, 2006 report by the Daily Mail, it is noted Princess Diana feared that she will be "eliminated" along with Camilla so that Prince Charles can marry Tiggy Legge-Bourke.
