‘Royals’ Singer Lorde Wishes to Write for Rihanna and Ellie Goulding
The new smash hit diva at the block has nailed it. "Royals" singer Lorde has big plans ahead of her. Because of her rising popularity she is now aiming to work with sterling artists of the industry.
New Zealand- based singer Lorde writes her own lyrics for her songs. She has tasted success enormously at a mere age of 16. Recently, her latest single "Royals" ranked number one at the U.S. Billboard Chart.
After gaining success and great fan following, she now plans to expand her horizon and broaden her experience. Along with singing, she wants to write for some of the chart topping artists of the industry. She has expressed her interest and has revealed that she has some of the greatest artists in mind.
She has revealed that she wants to write for Grammy Award winner artist Rihanna.
In an interview with Clash Magazine, "Royals" singer said that she hasn't written for anyone but herself. She is quite enthusiastic about it and "can't wait" to do so.
She also revealed that lyrics are a huge part of her music and they are very personal to her but writing lyrics for someone else would be a challenging task.
Rihanna tops the list of artists for whom she wishes to write. The other artist that she wants to collaborate with is "Under the Sheets" star Ellie Goulding.
"Royals" singer Lorde recently performed her first Australian Tour show in Brisbane. The show was a complete sold-out. According to her fans, she was as incredible performing live as she is performing on the records. She played some 12 songs which includes "Swingin' Party" by The Replacements and "Hold My Liquour" by Kanye West.
She opened her concert with the song called "Bravado." She performed songs from her new album "Pure Heroine," except the newly unveiled song "Team" and "Still Insane." The show was closed with the song "A World Alone."
"Royals" singer Lorde is clearly a rising star now. Her plans to write for singers like Rihanna get her fans really excited.
