Blake Lively is back on the streets of New York City filming new scenes for an episode of Gossip Girl.

The 24-year old starlet spent the weekend with her Green Lantern co-star and rumored beau Ryan Reynolds out and about in Boston, Massachusetts for his 35th birthday.

The rumored couple have been spotted out and about the set of his new movie R.I.P.D. Lively was snapped peeking out of Reynolds' trailer on set and leaving his Boston apartment. For his birthday, she presented the actor with dozens of balloons tied to her dog Penny.

Reports say the pair are currently dating casually. "Now they're both single and trying it out," the source explained to Us Magazine.

Reynolds kicked off his birthday celebrations early on Thursday at NYC's The Box with Lively and a couple of good friends, including long time pal Sandra Bullock.

"Blake and Ryan sort of broke off on their own after a while," a witness said. "Sandra also seemed to be having fun, but she was giving them their space."

After a fun-filled weekend, Lively is back to work shooting scenes with co-star and former flame Penn Badgley. The Gossip Girl co-stars dated for three years before breaking up in late 2010. Despite the split, the two have managed to work together on set of Gossip Girl amicably.

"It didn't seem like anything was off at all and no one said anything," a source said to People Magazine.

Since then, Lively has been linked to Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling briefly, and Leonardo Di Caprio for a few months following his split from Bar Refaeli. Meanwhile, Reynolds used to be married to actress Scarlett Johansson. The couple's divorce was finalized in June, six months after it was announced.

Gossip Girl is a CW hit television series based on a book series of the same name by author Cecily von Ziegesar. Enjoying vast popularity with women in the 18-34 demographic, the show catapulted its young cast into stardom soon after its debut.
