Rupert Grint Finally Decides to Jump onto the Twitter Bandwagon?
Ron Weasley's actor finally decides to create a Twitter account! Are the rumors really true?
Twitter is known as the second most used and most popular social networking site. This social networking site has caused the "Twitter-mania" that has got ordinary people and celebrities hooked.
Aside from having caused famous rivalries and rumors with tweets alone, it's also a platform where celebrity updates are easily found, along with news.
Twitter is the perfect site to stalk famous celebrities. Celebrities like Nina Dobrev of the "Vampire Diaries" and James Franco of "The Rise of the Planet of the Apes" are just a few celebs who love to tweet. Many bands have their own Twitter pages, such as Coldplay.
Twitter-mania has even reached out to the magical world of Harry Potter. The cast of the largest magical franchise are also on Twitter.
The queen, J.K. Rowling, herself has a Twitter account and their top six Tweeters include Emma Watson, known for her role as Hermione Granger, Tom Felton as the ever appealing Draco Malfoy, the twins Oliver and James Phelps known for their roles Fred and George Weasley, Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood and Chris Rankin known for his role as the prefect Percy Weasley.
Katie Leung or known for her role as Cho Chang, Scarlet Byrne known as Pansy Parksinson and Matthew Lewis known as Neville Longbottom are also well-known Harry Potter actors who've just recently joined Twitter.
So what's all this hype about Rupert Grint joining in on the tweeting fun?
"I'm seriously gonna think about it," says Grint in an interview by Kevin Pereira and Ben Lyons of E! News during the DVD launch of "Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 2" Saturday. "I'm, just worried people won't really follow me or care what I'm doing," says the actor.
People will seriously doubt that. Moments after Rupert stepped in, deafening screams erupted all over the place, proving that Ron Weasley's character has definitely got the ladies hooked.
Just give fans what they want, Rupert, and get on the bandwagon of Twitter mania. Stop doubting and start "tweeting!"
