Russell Brand Not After Katy Perry's Money After Divorce
Russell Brand is set to have the single status again by June as he pursued and filed the final set of divorce papers against the pretty pop star Katy Perry.
Since the two did not have any pre-nup agreement, Brand is privileged to have about half of $40 million from Katy Perry's earnings.
However, according to reports made by TMZ, he is not interested at all to take not even a penny from it. As agreed in court, any married couple who did not settle any prenup agreement before tying the knot will be entitled to have 50% of each other's earnings within 14 months. Forbes reported that the blue haired Perry made about $44 million from May 2010 up to May of the succeeding year.
The final deal though is set with Russell Brand not intending to get not even a cent of what his soon to be ex-wife Katy Perry worked hard for. According to sources cited in other interviews made by entertainment sites, Brand is satisfied to just walk away with the amount of money that he earned on his own.
Current rumours say that Perry's estranged hubby is already seen dating more than one woman around which could be a good sign that he has moved on from their not so past relationship. On the other hand, the 'California Gurls' star was last seen performing with high spirits and her usual teasing humour during the Super Saturday Night concert in Indianapolis in line with the Super Bowl.
The lawyer of Russell Brand filed the final set of papers but the judge is set to make it official by June 30, 2012 due to a waiting period of six months.
