However, this seems to be the most damning evidence yet that those reports may not have been completely unwarranted. Just a day after the news emerged that the couple spent Christmas miles apart, Brand was spotted walking solo around London without his wedding ring.

Representatives for the couple have never been quick to confirm or deny the rumors that surround the two even in the best of times. They have also not yet commented on any of the swirling rumors circulating nowadays on the internet. Neither Russell nor Katy had also addressed this latest round of their impending breakup reports on their Twitter pages.

The 36-year-old-comedian's ring-free venture in the United Kingdom comes roughly a week after the 27-year-old music superstar was also spotted on a beach without a wedding ring, as reported by E! Online. Katy Perry's location, granted, was much more understandable since she was splashing around in the surf when she was photographed without the ring.

Brand and Perry just celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in October and whether the end is high for the couple or not, the rumors are nothing new. So far, both have eventually gotten round to silencing their relationship death knells. Just last month, Russell sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and flat-out denied any trouble. "I am really happily married," Brand had said. However, with rumors of marriage problems between the couple spreading around like wildfire right now, time will only tell what will happen to them and if their marriage will stay that way.
