Jamie Dornan is said to be reconsidering reprising his role as the kinky billionaire Christian Grey in the planned two sequels for “Fifty Shades of Grey.” It’s believed the actor has turned down the offer in favour of his wife’s request, since the latter is reportedly unhappy with him acting out explicit scenes. Fans have been left heartbroken over the possibility of not seeing Dornan again but according to a report, there are still other actors out there who more than fit the role in case Dornan’s exit is confirmed.

Mirror UK has listed down four possible candidates who fit the role of Christian Grey for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequels. Superman star Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel”), Ryan Gosling (“Crazy Stupid Love”), Channing Tatum (“Magic Mike”) and Chris Pine (“Into The Woods”) are among the contenders. According to the site, these actors were chosen supposedly based on the characteristics that defined Mr. Grey in E.L. James’ book, which was the basis for the first film. The billionaire has to be handsome, charming, more than willing to strip naked, has some hidden dark secrets and most importantly willing to reprise his role in a sequel.

Acting skills aside, Henry Cavill supposedly fits the role because he has the face and body of a Mr. Christian Grey. However, the only odd factor would reportedly be his hair, since per the site he may “look a bit weird as a ginger.”

Ryan Gosling is said to be an “obvious choice” as the next Mr. Grey in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequels. He has the body, age and looks for it, according to the site. However, his voice is perceived to be “not the most dominant” in the world.

Channing Tatum’s looks, physique and eyes supposedly complete the general charming persona needed for the next Christian Grey. Mirror UK claimed his role in “Magic Mike” has also proven that he is capable of showing emotional darkness. But he may reportedly need to lose a bit of his muscles and prove he can do the intelligent businessman vibe if he is to star in the sequels. Likewise, he may need to get his wife’s permission doing the kinky sex scenes. Tatum told People that Jenna had to approve his strip tease moves first for “Magic Mike” before he can actually use them onscreen.

According to Mirror UK, Chris Pine is the perfect actor for the role of Christian Grey in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequels. Not only is he good-looking with his smoldering eyes and great physique, but he is believed to be also charming and funny. There’s said to be no reason why he can’t be the next kinky billionaire.
