Ryan Gosling Obtained Restraining Orders Against Stalker
Ryan Gosling recently obtained a restraining order against a female stalker who had been allegedly stalking the actor for the past three months.
The 34-year-old actor has claimed in court that a woman named Grace Marie Del Villar has been harassing him by sending packages and emails, as reported by TMZ. In one instance, the woman allegedly tore the page from a magazine featuring Eva Mendes along with the actor and stapled her contact info on the page.
The stalker had also been harassing the actor's sister by filling her inbox with weird emails like one saying "I am kicking your brother's head." Hence, the restraining order will also protect the actor's sister as well.
The behaviour of Del Villar reached its heights when she travelled all the way from New York City to Los Angeles and showed herself at the gate of the actor's house. As per the court documents, the stalker allegedly rang the security gate and introduced herself as Ryan's twin. She was denied entry and ultimately left leaving a doll behind at the gate.
The restraining order says that Del Villar is supposed to stay away from the actor, 40-year-old Mendes and 2.5-month-old daughter along with Gosling's elder sister Mandi. EOnline reported that the actor's claims that the stalker is delusional, as well as believes that she knows the Gosling family pretty well. In addition, they had been searching her in the past three years.
"Ryan has been looking for me," claims Del Villar as recorded in the court documents. Apart from the actor and his family, she has also been contacting and harassing Gosling's manager, Carolyn Govers and the director Derek Cianfrance along with his wife.
The Canadian actor and director started his career at a very young age, but tasted his first major success in the hit movie 'The Notebook'. The actor's directorial debut in 'Lost River' was also released in 2014. Gosling is presently dating 'The Place Beyond The Pines' co-star Eva Mendes. The couple recently had a baby girl together.
