It was just almost a year ago when Ryan Gosling was spotted putting a halt on a New York City fight. This time around, he was seen saving someone again by the name of Laurie Penny, a British writer, who was supposed to be hit by a car, as per her tweet.

She explained over at Twitter that she was about to cross 6th avenue wearing some new wig in pink when she was almost hit by a cab. She said that she was not used to seeing the right hand of way since she is from London. But luckily, there goes Ryan Gosling!

There is still no confirmed news though whether it was the actor or not for the Gosling's publicists still have not replied to any interviews for further comment. Gosling was last seen in 'Drive' and was praised for his tough role. He is set to appear in an upcoming movie, 'The Gangster Squad.'

Other Celebrity Heroes in Real Life

Aside from Gosling, there are other Hollywood celebrities who have helped ordinary people in real life who are in great distress.

Harrison Ford once saved an ill mountain hiker with his own helicopter. Tom Cruise helped a woman who was a victim of hit and run in LA and he stayed with the woman until all the much needed help and ambulance arrived. He also paid for the entire hospital bill which was worth $7,000.

Kate Winslet once saved the mother of Richard Branson, literally carrying her into her own arms, from a burning mansion. Branson recalled it as if he was watching a movie where Kate is playing the lead. And then of course, there was Keanu Reeves just simply letting a woman take her seat in the train.
