Ryan Reynolds masters Aussie accent, impersonates Hugh Jackman in short video
Hugh Jackman’s Twitter and Instagram followers were in for a pleasant surprise when the "Wolverine" actor shared a video, sent by none other than Ryan Reynolds. The "Deadpool" star created a video impersonating Jackman and posted it on his own Twitter account. Reynolds, in heavily scarred "Deadpool" makeup, is seen urging people to vote for Jackman to make him People’s “Sexiest Man Alive.” It seems that Blake Lively's husband has been quite successful in mastering the Aussie accent, based on the said video.
Jackman decided to share it with his six million Twitter followers and 3.7 million Instagram fans with the caption: “Presenting ... ME by HIM. @vancityreynolds #SMA” This surely made their day!
Reynolds says in the video, “G’day mate, Hugh Jackman here. Just reminding you to get your votes in for People ’s Sexiest Man Alive. Cover’s coming up.”

The Reynolds-Jackman friendship dates back to 2009’s "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" where Jackman, needless to say, played the part of Wolverine and Reynolds portrayed Wade Wilson aka Deadpool. Both Jackman and Reynolds have been awarded the “Sexiest Man Alive” title before, Hugh in 2008 and Reynolds in 2010.
Jackman recently told People that his winning the title, back in 2008, must have been a mistake. His wife, Deborah-Lee Furness, made a hilarious comment when Jackman won the title. "Obviously, Brad [Pitt] wasn't available this year,"she said.
But with friends such as Deadpool supporting him in this manner, it seems he might have a good shot at winning the “Sexiest Man Alive” title in 2015.
Deadpool was originally a supervillain in the Marvel Comics world. He was first seen in February 1991 in "The New Mutants" #98. However, he has come a long way since then and has been given the status of an antihero. Reynolds already completed filming for the upcoming "Deadpool" movie back in May and is now doing occasional reshoots of selected scenes.
"Deadpool" is scheduled to be released in Australia on Feb. 11, 2016. The video that Reynolds made about Jackman may have been filmed on the film's set. Although Hugh does not appear in the casting credits of "Deadpool," Ryan’s hilarious video support raises questions of the former making a cameo.
