Ryan Reynolds reply to Blake Lively's Instagram birthday greeting — It's too sweet to ignore

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively know how to greet each other a happy birthday, and no wonder they are still together. Recently, Lively has posted an Instagram greeting for her husband as Reynolds has celebrated his 40th birthday.

The Instagram posts has 1.2 million likes and it has been flooded with comments including Lively's BFF Taylor Swift and fellow squad member Karlie Kloss. "Thanks guys. Now I'm drowning in tears of joy," Taylor's comment on Lively's Instagram post while Kloss has written, "everything goals."

Even though Lively seemed to know how to write sweet messages, Reynolds also knew how to make his wife's heart melt. In his Instagram post, he said that he had the best birthday ever.

The couple's children, James and their second child, did not appear in the photo that was posted in Instagram. They still haven't revealed the gender and name of their second child. However, fans speculate that the 3-week-old baby is a girl, as Reynolds has disclosed in his Twitter account.

The surprise party has happened in a restaurant in New York called O Ya. The venue was decorated with ribbons and candid pictures of the couple, which include a picture of Reynolds on his 35th birthday. Two gold mylar balloon that spelled out Reynolds' age was also placed in the venue. The couple revealed that they fell in love at O Ya in Boston.

"We went on a double date. She was on a date with another guy, and I was on a date with another girl — and that was, like, the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across," Reynolds told SiriusXM in February. "I think the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends."
