Fans are said to be anticipating the release of "Saints Row 5." However, recent reports claim the 5th installment is not happening since a new stand-alone DLC has been put in place instead.

Inquisitr reports fans were apparently misled that a "SR5" was in the works when Jay Mohr provided a teaser announcement on the game earlier this year on his Twitter account. The actor, who was previously involved in "Saints Row 2," posted a photo and captioned it "About to do my voice over work for new Saints Row video game. #showbiz."

However, nothing has been heard about the sequel until now. The site claims "Saints Row 5" may not happen and the actor's voice was apparently used for a new DLC for "Saints Row 4." The downloadable content will reportedly involve a stand-alone mission and is entitled "Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell."

According to Polygon the new expansion is a product of the collaboration done by series creator Volition and High Voltage. The recent downloadable content was announced during the PAX panel on Friday, Aug. 29. It was reportedly revealed alongside the announcement that "Saints Row 4" has been branded as "Saints Row 4: Re-Elected" following its move to a new port under High Voltage Software.

New game features are said to be featured in the DLC like voice commands. Commonly used slurs such as "motherf***er" and "son of a b**ch" were given as examples. Additionally, players can also use mods to create weapons for their character.

Inquisitr claims the new DLC's environment was patterned from Disneyland. However, as seen on the trailer below, the place of mission clearly takes place in Hell. "Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell" is reportedly also a spoof of Meat Loaf Aday's classic album "Bat Out of Hell."

The game trailer sees the President being sucked into Hell, with characters Kinzie Kenzington and Johnny Gat believed to lead the "Saints Row 4" gameplay into new heights.

"Saints Row 4: Re-Elected" will be available for $29.99 and will reportedly include all previously released "Saints Row 4" DLCs ("Enter the Dominatrix" and "How the Saints Save Christmas"). Players can also opt to buy the game bundled with the new "Gat out of Hell" DLC for $49.99. Both games will be available for purchase on Jan. 27, 2015.
