Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Snapdragon 800 powered variant or SM-N900L appeared on GFX benchmark confirming some specifications including the newest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

GFX Benchmark Appearance

The upcoming phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 3 appeared on the benchmark site of GFX and revealed some specifications. It is codenamed as "hlte" with model number SM-N900L which may be the Korean variant of Galaxy Note 3.

Benchmark results put the Galaxy Note 3 just behind the Korean variant of Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 800 processor and beat other devices such as Sony Xperia Z Ultra equipped with Tegra 4 NVIDIA Shield.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Snapdragon 800 scored 1479 frames or 26.4 fps, Galaxy Note 3 falls right behind it with 1449 frames or 25.9 fps then Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6833 and Xperia Z Ultra C6802 with 1291 frames and 1289 frames respectively.

Technical Specifications Unveiled

Due to the benchmark result of Galaxy Note 3, some technical information leaked out and revealing the prowess of the upcoming Android phablet.

The Super AMOLED display on the Galaxy Note 3 is supposedly a flexible display variant while the 13MP primary camera may possibly come with an optical image stabilisation engine.

Samsung is doing finalisation of the Android firmware for Galaxy Note 3 which was initially Android 4.2.2 JDQ39 but the GFX benchmark revealed that the device may be released with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean instead.

Release Date

This won't be the last time that Galaxy Note 3 will appear on benchmark results before its release. Rumours point the IFA 2013 which would be the special event for Galaxy Note 3 official public launch.
