Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor

ETNews revealed that the initial production for the Galaxy Note 3 will be exclusively equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor, towing away the issue of an Exynos 5420 octa-core CPU variant which apparently suffering from overheating issues reported by Galaxy S4 owners.

Samsung will have to wait till a more stable version of the Exynos chip is available before launching a different variant of the Galaxy Note 3. Buyers from the United States and Europe will be the first to get their hands on the Galaxy Note 3 once it launches in September 4th at IFA 2013 unless the company can find a better Exynos chipset for the international variant.

Stable Supply

Samsung is not going to let any supply problems hamper buyers of the Galaxy Note 3. A published report from South Korea says that Samsung has finally decided Snapdragon 800 chipset to be used on the upcoming Galaxy Note. The report also included that around four million units are going to equip the said processor while 20 to 30 per cent of future production of the device will contain the Samsung's Exynos processor.
