A variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available in Vietnam showcasing 24K gold coating. It can be done within five hours costing $2000 each.

Out of the blue, a variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 appeared online via YouTube having 24K gold material in Vietnam. According to GSMArena, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Gold Edition has been enriched with 24K gold coating and the process to do it on the high-powered phablet can take up to five hours of nonstop work per unit with service costs at least $1100 on top of the $900 price of the device itself.
Golden as it seems, there is no official confirmation if the Gold Edition of Galaxy Note 4 is being sold by Samsung or by a third-party brand specialising on customisation of smartphones. Based on the YouTube video, an engraving on the side revealed the text "Distributed by Golden Mobile." Aside from the gold coating material, no modifications of hardware parts have been confirmed.

In the United States via network carrier Verizon Wireless, original model of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs $699.99 full retail price with 32 GB internal storage and available in two instalment plans having a two-year contact deal. Developer Edition of the phablet is also available for Verizon Wireless which costs $699.99 at Samsung's official website.
Sadly, the Developer Edition is not being offered to any instalment plans unlike with the original Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at Verizon Wireless. Here are the instalment details applicable to the original Samsung Galaxy Note 4 sold by Verizon:
1. $299.99 deal with two years contract inclusive of activation fees and upgrade after two years.
2. $29.16 deal via Verizon Edge inclusive of eligibility to upgrade if at least 75 of the phone's price has been paid off within 30 days, $10 to $25 monthly discount depending on the data plan and full device cost split into 24 monthly payments.
