Samsung Galaxy Note 4 5.7-Inch Display and the S5 Prime Download Speed Teased
Even though the release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has not yet been revealed, there are hints as to what can be expected of the actual unit, which will be the successor for last year's Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
An exclusive tip obtained by GSM Arena has given a screenshot of what appears to be a data sheet for some of Samsung's handsets. These include Samsung Galaxy Note 4, codenamed Muscat, which will supposedly have a 5.7-inch QHD display. This means that there will be no adjustments for the screen size of the Galaxy Note 4 compared to its predecessor, an interesting break to the "bigger is better" outlook when it comes to display sizes.
On top of that, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime was seen in the mix, which will supposedly have a 5.2-inch QHD display.
Another rumour regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's screen comes from Know Your Mobile, which speculates the possibility of a 4K display technology debuting on the handset. But there's always the constraint of the production, which makes another rumour, the flexible display, a less possible display coming out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Still, the latest leak does give a pretty good picture of how the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will feel in your hand once it's become an official handset.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime Will Have Faster Downloads
Another one of Samsung's unannounced and unconfirmed device, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, has received a report, this time hinting at possible fast download speeds.
According to CNet, the Galaxy S5 Prime might get a download speed of up to 225 megabits per second, which is thrice the speed when on LTE. Sadly, the report came from a Korean web site, and it seems that the faster download speeds may only be available for the South Korean territory.
The source continues that SK Telecom may be one of the providers that can make this happen as it may be combine the 20Mhz and 10Mhz spectrums to achieve the 25Mbps downloads.
Whether or not this kind of download speed will be possible in other areas, or if the processor that will actually support this kind of download speed will have finished production before the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is released, is still up for confirmation from Samsung.
