When the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was tested via AnTuTu, it yielded a score that made it worthy of being called a flagship. Given the similarity of features and specs, a lot of fans expected the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge to clock in at around the same AnTuTu test score as the Galaxy Note 4.

During the previous testing, however, it only obtained 36,000 points. But in a recent finding by G for Games, the Samsung Galaxy Edge went through another round of tests to see its performance, and this time, it was found to be more than enough for a flagship alternative.

The report states that it got an AnTuTu score of 47,918, just some points shy of meeting the 48,285 obtained by the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910S). The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is set to release in just a number of countries, with Australia being one of the first to experience the device. Fans have yet to see the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge in action once it hits retail.

Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the South Korean company also appears to be pushing forward its A-series, which has three devices in the lineup. SamMobile has obtained some exclusive information about the three devices.

First, there are rumours that all of the A-series devices will feature LTE connectivity. The three devices will serve as tiers, with the Galaxy A3 being the low-end version of the bunch. The source even reveals rumoured prices, with the Galaxy A3 tagged at $350 to $400, the Galaxy A5 at $400 to $450 and the Galaxy A7 at $450 to $500.

The Galaxy A3 and A5 will reportedly be available during the main launch, while the Galaxy A7 will only see release in a few countries. It was not stated whether the limited release is due to it being of a different processor (hence matched with specific territories) or if it will be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, where the technology used for the device will be limited and more premium than the Galaxy Note 4.

SamMobile does suggest that the limitation of the Galaxy A7 is to prevent any overshadowing of the other devices, specifically the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which is the premium device in the series. The Samsung Galaxy A-Series will reportedly be revealed later this year come Q3, but note that this is mostly speculation from insider information.
