Samsung Galaxy Note 4 And Gear S Get Dazzling With Swarovski As Wearable Tech Is Explained By Infographic
What's better than having a Samsung Galaxy Note 4? Own one decked in Swarovski, if you are the type to want glitz and glamoured splashed on your phablet. There is now a formal agreement between Samsung and Swarovski, and the first fruit of that collaboration is the special edition accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Gear 2.
Showing off a few snapshots, The Verge reports that the two devices will debut with silver and gold variations of the accessory. The design features small Swarovski crystals lining the body of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Gear 2.
However, the report does mention that it may be for the glitz lover. While the Swarovski design goes well with the ornamental bracelet of the Gear S, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 transforms into a thicker device that may not be as ergonomic as it originally is.
The accessories are dubbed as "Swarovski for Samsung" and it will be debuting with the Gear S come October. No price has been announced for either set of accessories, but for the meantime, enjoy the snapshots of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Gear 2 in their glittering glory via the link above.
Apart from the Swarovski offering of the Samsung Gear 2, there is also an infographic released for the Samsung Gear S. Similar to what was featured for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Gear VR, this infographic shows off the features of the new wearable technology from the South Korean company.
SamMobile has managed to land the infographic, which can be seen in the link. What's interesting about the Gear S is not just the watch-face that it sports, but also its independence as a stand-alone device.
According to the infographic, the Samsung Gear S has Bluetooth, 3G and wi-fi connectivity even without a smartphone, all thanks to its embedded USIM chip. It also has a curved Super AMOLED display to fit your wrist as well as the use of an S Voice and an onscreen keyboard. For those who want to also put it as a fashion statement, the strap is interchangeable in three colours, black, blue and white, or as a bracelet also with three colours, blue, red and mocha grey.
The Samsung Gear S is a Tizen-based device that runs on dual-core 1.0GHz processor and sports a 4GB internal capacity.
