Samsung Galaxy S4: Exynos 5 Octa Processor Featured in an Overview and Demonstration Video
The excitement and anticipation on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 smart phone just got a level higher with a released synopsis video of the ARM big.LITTLE tech featuring the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa Processor. The video has been posted on YouTube for viewers to watch the explanation on how the multi core processor works.
At the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung launched the powerful processor. The Exynos 5 is a quad core processor that operates on eight cores comprised of four Cortex A7 chips and four Cortex A15 chips. The Cortex A7 chip will reportedly be used to deal with the device's low level usage while the Cortex A15 chips will be used to operate the high performance level.
In the official video, the Exynos 5 Octa processor showed the benefits of having an enhanced battery life as well as increased device performance. Samsung announced at the 2013 CES that with the Exynos 5 Octa processor, battery life will be much better compared to the Nexus 10 Exynos 5 processor.
The Exynos 5 Octa processor can utilize less than 70% power against the standard Cortex A15 quad-core processor. Since the official launch of Exynos 5 Octa processor, Samsung has been advertizing the processor on the internet.
Exynos 5 Octa processor will reportedly power a device with 4.99-inch Full HD touch screen display estimated to start the full production before February ends. Samsung continues to keep mum on the speculations surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 while the internet world tirelessly reports on the Samsung's latest smart phone features and specifications.
Recent reports suggest the eight core processor will be found inside the Samsung Galaxy S4 once the smart phone is launched this April. The latest superior processor is expected to be included as well in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which will be released later this year.
