More details about the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S4's release date and specs have come out. In a specs video leak, AnTuTu benchmark said the device will be announced in New York on March 14.

The gadget will sport a 1.8 GHz Exynos 5410 Octa processor and an ARM-powered PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU.

Other specs included in the video are a 4.99-inch full HD (1920x1080) screen, 2GH RAM, 16/32GB storage options, 13-megapixel real camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, 2.1-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, A-GPS E-Compass, G-Sensor and the Android Jelly Bean OS.

Meanwhile, CNET quoted a New York Times report which cited a person who was used the device that the S4 would have eye-tracking software. With the program, the device will monitor the user's eyes to initiate action. The article cited that upon reaching the bottom of a page when reading an article, the page will automatically scroll down to the next paragraphs of the text without the use of hand gesture.

The eye-monitoring software, included in a trademark filing by Samsung in the U.S. under the name Samsung Eye Scroll and Eye Pause, is an improvement from the face-recognition technology uses by Samsung for the Galaxy S3 which keeps the phone screen illuminated when a person is looking at the display.

The AnTuTu benchmark compared the Galaxy S4 with other smartphones such as the LG Optimus G, LG Nexus 4, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3 and HTC One X+.

Gadgets.NDTV.com also cited a report by Russian journalist Eldar Murtazin that the device will have the same plastic casing like the S3.

At the CES in January, Samsung unveiled the eight-core Exynos 5 Octa which led to speculations that the South Korean tech firm will feature this innovation in the S4. However, SamMobile said that there were some overheating issues with the processor, although Samsung then indicated the problem will not be fixed in time for the launch which made it switch to the use of Qualcomm chips.

In an official teaser, Samsung said the S4 launch will be held at the Times Square. Here is the leaked TV ad.
