Samsung Gear Watch vs. LG G Watch
The Google I/O developers conference has officially announced the two smartwatches: LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Watch. Both Korean companies are entering for the first time in the Android Wear category and competing against each other.

LG G Watch comes with a 1.65-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 280 x 280 resolution powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and a battery sporting 400 mAh. It also includes 4 GB of internal storage and 512 MB of RAM and can be personalized with any standard 22 mm strap available.
Samsung Gear Live not only competes with G Watch but also with Moto 360 and Tizen-running Gear 2 line. It has 1.63-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with 320 x 320 resolution and 1.2 GHz processor.
Similar to G Watch, it also includes 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of storage capacity supporting 22 mm straps but features a smaller battery with 300 mAh.
G Watch is IP67 with water- and dust-resistant and this also means that it is tight toward dust and can bear up to 1 m of water for 30 minutes. It also features nine axis sensors of gyro/ accelerometer/ compass and supports Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Samsung Watch is also IP67-certified and talks about Bluetooth 4.0. G Watch has dimensions of 37.9 mm x 46.5 mm x 9.95 mm weighing 63 g and the dimensions of Samsung Gear Live are 37.9 mm x 56.4 mm x 8.9 mm weighing 59 g.
G Watch will be offered in white gold or black titan in the Play Store when provided for sale, whereas Samsung Gear Live will be offered in black and wine red and can be expected anytime in the Google Play Store.
Gear Live also has Samsung's popular heart rate monitor, which is included in Galaxy S5 and Gear 2 smartwatches. The AT&T announced it will be among the first U.S. carriers to sell G Watch but did not mention the actual date of release.
