Samsung is popular for releasing several variants of any smartphone offering they have. From the looks it, the company will continue to uphold this tradition. A recent leak indicates that the Korean tech giant is working on dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Mega 6.3.

The leak also provides information about the specs and possible appearance of the device. It is similar to the initial Galaxy Mega offering, but the device now has an extra SIM card slot. The device remains the same Galaxy Mega 6.3, only instead of single SIM, people can now use two.

The handset still retains the 6.3-inch display similar to tablets. It offers around 720p resolution. The dual-SIM version of the smartphone runs on a dual-core 1.7 Exynos processor with 1GB of RAM. It will also feature Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, plus a microSD card slot. The front camera shoots at 2 megapixel, while the rear camera shoots at 8 megapixel.

The smartphone goes by the model number SCH-P729. Samsung named it as the Galaxy Mega 6.3 DUOS. The market will have to wait for official and final confirmation from Samsung about the device.

The leak came from a Bluetooth certification which leaves room for more speculations. Until the final announcement, analysts and consumers can only guess what Samsung is up to. Some analysts feel the device will take some time before entering the market, especially the United States.

Reports indicate that additional details about the release of the product and other info should come from the FCC. Based from the filing sighting, the initial dual-SIM Galaxy 6.3 will come through AT&T.
