It is not just the new 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 that South Korean tech giant Samsung will release in 2013. Citing a Samsung tablet plans for 2013 leak, SamMobile claims the tech firm will release four more tablets for the remainder of the year.

The Web site named the upcoming devices as the dual-sim Galaxy Tab 7.0, Galaxy Tab 8.0, Galaxy Tab 11 and an eight-core Nexus 11.

The Galaxy Tab 8 is an 8-inch 1080p AMOLED tablet, featuring 5- and 2-megapixel cameras and a quad-core A9 Exynos processor. TechRadar found this gadget not too exciting, but pointed out that the release of several gadgets apparently fits into Samsung's strategy of manufacturing several devices with little differentiation and letting consumers decide which one would they want.

The Galaxy Tab DUOS 7.0 will sport a 7-inch PLS LCD display, dual-core processor and 3- and 2-mexapixel back and front cameras and it will be the company's first dual-sim tablet.

The Galaxy Tab 11 would be the replacement for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 which will be discontinued, SamMobile said, and will feature a Super PLS 11-inch screen, 8- and 2-megapixel cameras and dual-core A15 Exynos chip.

The 11-inch Super PLS screen Nexus 11 would be collaboration between Google and Samsung, sporting 8- and 2-mexapixel cameras and the world's first eight-core tablet, featuring A15 and A7 Exynos processors.

Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal reported that the Galaxy S4 Active, the rugged version of Samsung's flagship smartphone, is set for roll out in July. While it is expected to have the same physical appearance as the Galaxy S4, it was designed to withstand water and dust.

The device will mainly be marketed to government agencies with use in rugged surroundings such as war areas as well as construction sites and other corporate clients.

On Monday, Samsung announced the availability of a Wi-Fi-only version beginning May of the Galaxy Tab 3, which features a 7-inch screen, 1,024 x 600 pixel display, 3-megapixel back and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The 3G version, capable of making phone calls, will hit store shelves in June.
