The Samsung Galaxy S3 4.3.3 update rollout doesn't seem to go smoothly as expected. The latest Jelly Bean update proves to be a nightmare for a boatload of Samsung users, who report crashing handsets, battery life issues and buggy performance. A glimpse of the Samsung UK Facebook page is enough to say that majority of the complaints come from Galaxy S3 users but even Galaxy S4 users haven't taken the update as smoothly as they should have.

Android 4.3.3 promises to ensure millions of devices to be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch, the HomeSync function and deliver graphics and general performance improvement. Instead, here's what some frustrated users have to say:

"Have to say that your jellybean 4.3 update for the galaxy s3 has completely ruined my phone. Thanks alot samsung. Brilliant work!" - Mathew Yates

"I've always praised Samsung never had any huge issues until 3 days ago. My s3 battery is useless and the when you press the home button it takes up to 30 seconds to wake the screen up. And as for my s4 it crashed just trying to upload 4.3. Not impressed at all I might have second thoughts about getting the note3," reads one comment from James Coughlin.

"5+ battery pulls to get my s3 back working after this disastrous 4.3 update. How can a company the size of Samsung release an update like this? If I did this in my job, I'd get the sack. Oh and my battery goes down faster than my bank balance, which I thought was impossible. One unhappy Samsung customer," shared Wayne Jones.

Other users have been proactive by reporting possible fixes but none of which have been official authorized or confirmed by Samsung. Some users report having issues with sending and receiving SMS text messages.

Samsung hasn't directly responded to the specific issues mentioned above but it's released a statement acknowledging receipt of the complaints. "We appreciate your patience while we work on this," Samsung stated. "As soon as we have further information, we'll update you through our social and service channels. Thank you for bearing with us."

It seems that Samsung is currently investigating the issues and has since suspended all Galaxy S3 Android 4.3.3 Jelly Bean updates until further notice.
