The online voting ran for several weeks, and Moras was unmistakably looked upon as the most popular female MMA fighter after gathering nearly half of the total online votes. Moras received more than 46% of online votes.

Here's the complete list of the voting results:

  1. Sarah Moras - 46%
  2. Sarah Kaufman - 24%
  3. Julia Budd - 20%
  4. Alexis Davis - 7%
  5. Charmaine Tweet - 2%
  6. Other - 1%

Moras appeared in the semi-finals fight for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18, where she fought, fellow Team Tate member, Julianna Pena. A lot of MMA fans had hoped for Moras to win but she probably was just not lucky enough.

The match between Moras and Pena in TUF 18 was actually a rematch. The duo faced each other in April 2012, where Moras triumphed by doctor's stoppage technical knockout only after just a couple of rounds. Moras received a lot of praise after her arm bar attack over Pena.

Furthermore, during the TUF 18, she was also given the "submission of the season" after fans from all over the world voted for her amazing arm bar assault over Peggy Morgan, earning herself 25 grand.

On Dec. 7, Moras wrote on Twitter that she has donated a signed sports bra and a picture from TUF 18 to help a nine-year-old boy, who is currently battling bone cancer.

"I donated one of my sports bra (signed) and pic from #TUF18 for the silent auction check it out Jan 18 Westbank," she wrote along with a link to an article featuring the kid's cancer battle.
