Sarah Jessica Parker made it clear that she will never again play a character like Carrie Bradshaw.

Sarah Jessica Parker has a lot to thank about her character in Sex and the City. From playing the role of Carrie Bradshaw, she has gained fashionista status in the fickle industry. However, on her latest interview with Elle magazine, Parker said that she would not choose to take another character with a "flawed" personality.

Parker admits that she loved playing a New York fashionista in the hit TV series Sex and the City. But she dislikes her character's personality traits.

"I don't love the idea of playing another woman who loves fashion and is slightly flawed in New York City. I loved Sex and the City's Carrie and I don't want to do the poor man's version of her," she said. "And while those are often the lucrative things to do, it's more reason to look in the other direction."

She also added that she wouldn't give any advice to AnnaSophia Robb who will be portraying the role of a young Carrie Bradshaw in the upcoming "Carrie Diaries" to be aired on January 2013.

"I would never give advice. No, no, no. It's like someone giving romance advice or parenting advice. It's such a unique experience, playing a part and I'm sure they found someone wonderful," she said.

Sarah recently returned on the small screen with her appearance on musical TV show "Glee" where she played as an editor of Vogue.com.

Sarah's interview on Elle magazine is part of a special edition which aims to celebrate the "Women in Hollywood" who have made their contributions in the film industry. Other actresses included in the issue are Cate Blanchett, Octavia Spencer, Uma Thurman, Kristen Wiig, Susan Sarandon, Shirley MacLaine, Elle Fanning and Emma Watson.
