In a move which may be seen as part of her positioning, Sarah Palin, former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor, will have a book tour from Nov. 23 to Dec. 3 to promote American by Heart, Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag.

The new book will hit shelves later this month on the 23rd. It is Palin's first book since her best-selling memoir Going Rogue previously released in 2009, a year after her candidacy as John McCain's vice-president in 2008 US presidential election.

According to Haper Collins, the 46-year old Palin will be joined by her husband, Todd, and other family members. However, her daughter Bristol Palin is not expected to join the tour, as she is currently busy with Dancing With The Stars.

Palin will skip the Democrats-leaning cities such New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, as what she did before for her . Her tour will mostly comprised of appearances on the South, Southwest and Midwest, starting at a Barnes & Noble in Phoenix, home state of Sen. John McCain.
