Former US First Lady Barbara Bush thinks Sarah Palin should just stay in Alaska. In an interview with Larry King, the wife of former US President George Bush, Sr. thought that Palin should stick to her home state Alaska, whose governorship she had quit.

"I sat next to her once, thought she was beautiful. And I think she's very happy in Alaska -- and I hope she'll stay there," said Barbara Bush.

The former US First Lady made the statement in an interview for "Larry King Live" to be aired tomorrow. Her husband, the elder former US President George Bush was also present in the interview.

But of course, Sarah Palin won't be sticking it out in Alaska these days, as she is busy promoting her new book American by Heart, throughout the United States. The book will available on Nov. 23. It is Palin's first book since her best-selling memoir Going Rogue previously released in 2009, a year after her candidacy as John McCain's vice-president in the 2008 US presidential election.

Incidentally, Barbara Bush's son former US President George W. Bush also has a new book out. The former US President released Decision Points. The book is an instant best-seller, with 775, 000 copies sold within the first week.

Barbara Bush has said that she loved her son's book, commending it for being very frank.

"Good. I think he did a good job of selling the darn thing, he's been out there all over the place. But I liked it," said Barbara.
