Sarah Palin's husband Todd Palin competing at 'Dancing With the Stars'?
After Bristol, her dad Todd Palin might compete in Dancing With the Stars. The Palins are apparently good for the dancing show's ratings.
Rumours that Sarah Palin's husband will be competing at the show has began circulating after the head hunt for the next competitors commenced. Todd's daughter Bristol Palin landed third place in the last season of Dancing With the Stars, and if he manage the same feat, then it will just show that the Palins have a thing for dancing.
Bristol's longevity at the talent search, despite receiving opposition, had been good to the show's ratings that producers are already toying with the idea of her dad as contestant. It's not a bad idea, after all the show had originally approached Todd and not their daughter, Bristol.
A source told E! News: "They want him big time... They'd love Sarah, but they don't think that will ever happen, so why not go for the dad."
Todd Palin has been relatively low profile as compared to his wife Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate, and her daughter Bristol. While many just knows Todd as the husband of Sarah Palin, he is pretty accomplished himself. Todd is an oil field production operator, commercial fisherman and champion snowmobile racer, winning the Tesoro Iron Dog four times.
Aside from Todd Palin, the producers also want Meghan McCain and Elliot Spitzer. Eealy reports in the media said producers also want Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan (See full report here).
