In the closing scene of episode 9 of "Scandal" Season 3, "Yolo," Sally called-up Cyrus and told him that she has committed a sin. She had killed her husband, Daniel Douglas. Cyrus had played an indirect role in the death of Daniel. He had shown Sally the pictures of her husband and his husband in compromising position.

Cyrus had no intention to publish the pictures and put the final nail in his already wavering marriage to James. The photographs were shown to Sally to force her to back out from running for the President post as an independent candidate.

Now, Cyrus has a much bigger problem to fix. In the sneak peek of "Door Marked Exit," Cyrus is shocked to see the body of Daniel in a pool of blood. Sally can seen saying, almost murmuring like a woman possessed, that a devil came into her and he made her do it, and she gave into him. She fears that now she is going to burn into flames.

It is highly unlikely that Sally is going to serve prison term, though she will be putting her First Woman U.S. President on the back-burner. Guillermo Diaz had said to The Hollywood Reporter that, Pope & Associates are likely to be roped in to fix Sally's situation. According to Diaz, "I can't imagine them (Pope & Associates) not getting involved. I think they might jump in there and try to fix things. It's a possibility. Sally is the type of woman who does things by any means necessary."

Official Synopsis of "Door Marked Exit": "Now that the truth is out there, things will never be the same and everyone will have to face the consequences of their actions."

"Door Marked Exit" is likely to be packed-with edge of the seat thrilling scenes, with Quinn out to kill Rowan, Olivia dealing with the realisation that her mom is a terrorist and the possibility of her father being a good man, and the President caught-up in a web of mess.

"Scandal" Season will have 18 episodes. ABC has decided to cut down the number of episodes probably because of Kerry Washington's real-life pregnancy.
