The ten episodes of "Scandal" Season 3 were explosive, with dark secrets tumbling-out left, right and centre. Operation Remington unlocked the cupboard full of secrets. Jake and Huck found out that President Fitz, on the orders of Rowan, had shot down a commercial plane, killing more than 300 people. To her shock, Olivia discovered that her mother is alive and later to her horror she figured out that her mother is a terrorist and she had fooled her father.

The episode 10, "Door Marked Exit," ended on a note of Rowan's ouster from B613 and Jake taking over as the command. Also, Huck told Quinn that she is no longer the gladiator. Olivia's mom did not exit the country but was in Washington D.C.

The promo clip of the untitled episode 11 says that the upcoming episodes, "rises to a whole new level of crazy." In the clip, one can see Mellie asking Olivia to smile at a party, as the whole world is watching. We wonder did Olivia join President Fitz's campaign team. According to reports, when "Scandal" Season 3 returns for its second instalment, elections are going to play a "big role."

The mid-season finale opened a lot of story-lines and it will be interesting to watch what happens next. In episode 11, the audience might get to see Olivia's reaction after she comes to know that Jake is the new command. The relationship between Olivia and Jake is not likely to be the same. Also, Rowan's next move will be interesting to watch. It is likely that Cyrus and Sally might approach Pope & Associates to fix the murder of Daniel Douglas, as David has the proof that Sally may have killed her husband.

It will be a long break time for "Scandal" fans, as episode 11 is scheduled to air on February 27, 2015. There are only eighteen episodes in the ongoing season. It is speculated that ABC decided to cut down on the number of episodes of Season 3 because of Kerry Washington's real-life pregnancy. Recently, Kerry won the Golden Globe best actress nomination.
