Scott Foley, who portrays Jake in "Scandal," has said that there will be extreme, divisive reactions to the final moment of the episode. He also warns that Twitter will explode. He said to The Hollywood Reporter: ""This final moment will be divisive. Some people will think, 'Thank God, yes, that's exactly what we wanted to see happen.' Other people will be up in arms."

"Twitter will explode. Explode! Last season it was the "dad" moment. This season, it's not so much an, Oh my God!' -- you're either going to love it or you're going to be up in arms." Foley feels that there will more people who will be up in arms after seeing the final moment of the final episode of "Scandal" Season 3.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes Kerry Washington, who plays Olivia Pope, as saying that the final moment is "very shocking."
