The episode 11 of "Scandal" Season 3 is called "Ride Sally Ride." The episode might begin on a note of President Fitz's re-election campaign, as in the upcoming episodes, Presidential election is likely to be the main focus.

The first sneak peek released of the upcoming, new episode, "Ride Sally Ride," show Olivia and Mellie meeting-up. It is a public space and the two give each other fake smiles. Mellie can be seen entering a dangerous territory when she brings-up the topic of Olivia's mom. Olivia's fake smile disappears. In the sneak-peek, someone is trying to click the two ladies, together, without getting noticed. We wonder if Olivia will join Fitz's campaign. As reported earlier, Mellie will be getting a potential love interest, which might clear the path for Fitz and Olivia a little bit.

Sally had given her resignation to the President, telling him she will be standing against him in the President election. However, she murdered her husband, Daniel Douglas, and had to inter her aspiration to become the first U.S President. Leo is likely to make her re-consider. The episode 11 "Ride Sally Ride" is a reference to the Vice President. The episode might put Sally back in contention to become the President, while David Rosen investigates the real cause of her husband's death.

David Rosen has Sally's phone call recording. This recording has her calling Cyrus to tell him she has committed a sin. James, Cyrus' husband, had also met David to tell that there is something suspicious about Daniel's death.

Betsy Beers, executive producer "Scandal," had said to TV Line: "It's going to be interesting to see how much the fat lady sung when it comes to Daniel Douglas' heart attack."

Talking about Fitz and Olivia relationship, Beer had said they are "always intertwined in very odd and new ways. I would expect that that's something that will continue."

"Scandal" Season 3 consists of 18 episodes. The episode 11 is scheduled to air on February 27, 2014.
