After the "Avengers," Scarlett Johansson is looking at a very busy year-end with a different sci-fi flick.

"ScarJo" is going to play an alien in the Jonathan Glazer-helmed movie titled "Under the Skin" that he co-wrote with Walter Campbell.

"Johansson plays an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey -- her voracious sexuality. She is deadly efficient, but over time becomes drawn to and changed by the complexity of life on earth. With this new found humanity and weakening alien resolve, she finds herself on a collision course with her own kind," reports Movies Web.

Scarlett Johansson is known for starring in movies such as "Ghost World," but became well known after Sofia Coppola's "Lost in Translation" in 2003 that won her a BAFTA award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She will reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff in upcoming Marvel sequel "Avengers," a role that started in "Iron Man 2."

The movie will be viewed from the perspective of Johansson, hoping to give the world a different view of the human world through the eyes of an alien. Although co-written by both Glazer and Campbell, the story is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Faber. The story is very much inspired by the Scottish Highlands which, hopefully, will be reflected in the movie.

Johansson seems to be the most actor to portray a sexy alien that uses her sexuality to prey upon men, evident from her films such as "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," "Iron Man 2," and "Avengers," where she plays a strong-willed woman.

Recently Johansson entered some sort of mini-scandal when some of her nude photos were leaked online. Scarlett did admit in taking them, but also said life in the limelight can be problematic sometimes.

"Just because you're an actor or make films or whatever doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy ... if that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong," commented Scarlett on an interview regarding the photos on Allie is Wired. She has asked the FBI's help in sniffing out the hackers that got the photos off her mobile phone.

But even after this small scandal, obviously there is no stopping ScarJo.
