Scarlett Johansson Rocks New Brunette ‘Do'
Scarlett Johansson wows Hollywood watchers by sporting stunning new look with her short and messy brunette hairdo.
Johansson, 27, is currently working on an upcoming sci-fi film, "Under the Skin."
While filming, "The Avengers" actress was photographed from a beautiful angle, showing a younger and edgier vibe. (See the photos in this NY Daily News report. Photos were taken on the film set in Glasgow, Scotland on Tuesday.)
What can you say about Johansson's new 'do? It works for her, doesn't it?
In describing her role in the sci-fi-alien film, Johansson told Variety earlier this year:
"But it's actually not a science-fiction film; it's sort of a film that asks existential questions and much more complex than the logline."
Jonathan Glazer ("Sexy Beast") directs the film, which is due out late this year.
Scarlett Johansson plays an alien
Speaking to Ariana Huffington for Interview magazine, Johansson was reluctant to give an elaborate description of the film.
"It's hard to give a kind of warm-up line for the story because it's almost like giving the plotline of a Bergman film, but I'm playing a character called Laura, who is an it that becomes a she... That's what the story's about -- it's about that transformation... It basically has no written dialogue, and I don't think it's really character-driven. Jon [Glazer] is an incredible visionary, and in the place I'm in right now, it feels really fresh."
From "The Avengers" to "Under the Skin" to "Hitchcock" - to organic farming?
Johansson is quite busy these days, playing other roles as fans anticipate her return to the big screen as "Black Widow."
The in-demand actress will also be seen in "Hitchcock" early next year. She plays Janet Leigh, with co-stars Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren.
You would think this young actress is not thinking of slowing down. But she does, in a way.
Speaking to Total Film, Johansson admitted to fears that her next role could be her last. And if that's the case, she would venture into organic farming.
"It's true, you know what I mean? I think every actor, when you finish a job you're like, 'Oh man, that'll probably be the last time I ever work again...I guess I'll go into organic farming or something,'" she said.
It looks like Johansson will get to sport a thousand more 'dos - or more, if she's wildly adventurous - before she could her hands on farming.
