There is a 'Devil Baby' on the streets of New York and it is scaring passers-by with its evil appearance and monstrous activities in the perambulator. The video of the prank has gone viral on YouTube as it received 26,176,588 hits when last checked after the video was uploaded on Tuesday, Jan 14.

The prank is a part of the promotional strategy of the movie "Devil's Due' to be released on Friday, Jan 17. The prank is very much similar to what we have seen in the trailers which project the process of the birth of antichrist. The 'Devil Child' involved in the prank is not a human child. Don't get us wrong. We don't mean any satanic influence here. The baby is actually an electronic doll which resembles a lot with the one we saw in the film series 'Child's Play'.

The baby-doll and the perambulator are controlled by remote gadgets, while the baby takes a stroll on its 'vehicle' to scare onlookers. It all starts when someone hears a cry of a lonely child from the stranded perambulator. The compassionate citizen comes near probably to help the child or just to gratify curiosity. The baby bangs out of its covers and sits up. The person who came to help almost searched for people to help him in this shocking situation.

The baby looks almost real with its obnoxious stare and body movements. At some point of time, it vomits like crazy and creates a weird horrendous atmosphere under the broad daylight. The creators of the prank, we admit, have done a really good job in preparing the prank. Even though people like us enjoy the video and laugh at others' expense, people definitely look scared. If this is the result during daytime, we wonder how the prank may turn out to be at night with darkness adding to the desirable ambiance.

Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin are the director-duo of 'Devil's Due', a comparatively low-budget movie distributed by 20th Century Fox.
