Scary Spice has made Emma Stone cry. It’s not as if Mel B did something bad, though. All she did was appear in a video to interview the “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” star, and Emma was already brought to tears.

2Day FM DJs Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts was speaking to the 25-year-old actress in Sydney to promote her new film when they showed her a video of the former Spice Girl asking her a question.

“Wait, Mel B could have been here?” Emma asked, her voice shaking as she continued, “Oh my god, is Mel B talking to me? I am so excited! I’m legitimately crying!”

Tears started gathering in her eyes as she said, “I’m the biggest Spice Girls fan ever!”

Mel, who couldn’t be in the interview, told Emma, “Why did you like Baby Spice and not me?” she asked, referring to fellow Spice Girl, Emma Bunton.

As for her “punishment” for liking Baby Spice more, Mel B told Emma (the actress) to sing a rendition of any Spice Girls song.

She obliged, singing the rap verse of the girl group’s most famous song, “Wannabe.” She didn’t get all the lyrics right, but it was obvious that she’s the ultimate Spice Girls fan girl.

As for Mel’s first question, Emma didn’t answer why she liked Baby Spice more than Scary Spice. It could just be that they share a first name.

“Spider-Man 2” stars Emma’s real life boyfriend Andrew Garfield as the titular character. It also features Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Embeth Davidtz, Campbell Scott, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field.

It is set to be released in international theatres on April 16.
