Science reveals the most beautiful women on earth: Kim Kardashian bested by Amber Heard
Hollywood celebrities’ beauty is scientifically proven.
The most beautiful women in the world are the faces most likely seen on today’s trending gossips and expensive product placements. They are, according to a scientific research, the beauties in Hollywood, namely Amber Heard, Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss.
It’s a bit anticlimactic to know that these Hollywood celebs top the beauty rankings, but this time their gorgeousness is even being verified by science. According to British plastic surgeon Dr. Julian de Silva, some celebrities have the closest features to the “perfect” standards. De Silva reveals that actor Johnny Depp’s estranged wife, Amber Heard, takes the top spot, shoving off Kim Kardashian to the second place.
He based his scientific claims on the Golden Ratio, or known as Phi. This measures things like the distance between the eyes, the nose dimension, the forehead size or, in short, the overall facial symmetry. He has devised a facial mapping technique using the Phi, which has then let him conclude that the most beautiful women can be found in Hollywood.
"With this ground-breaking technology, we have solved some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful,” De Silva was quoted by the Mirror as saying.
Science provided this supposed beauty standards, but it also warns the public against altering their natural beauty. As reported by Time, there is a great surge in the number of people travelling abroad to receive cheap plastic surgery. Health officials reveal cases of people developing severe infections after undergoing these surgeries. Also, a recent Australian-led research published as Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery journal revealed that breast implants are closely related to the increase in women’s risk of cancer.
The study's top 10 most beautiful women:
1. Amber Heard (91.85 percent)
2. Kim Kardashian (91.39 percent)
3. Kate Moss (91.06 per cent)
4. Emily Ratajkowski (90.8 per cent)
