"Scorpion" season 3 episode 10 will be back on air on Dec. 12. The episode is entitled “The Pits.” Fans are now very excited to see the return of the show after being on a two-week hiatus.

One of the updates of the upcoming episode is that Lea Thompson is going to appear as Victoria Dineen. She will be playing as a mother of Paige Dineen. Aside from that, her other role will be a matchmaker in "Scorpion" season 3, episode 10. She will play cupid to Walter and Paige and will do her best to set them up.

"Scorpion" season 3, episode 10 will bring the team to La Brea Tar Pits where a trapped woman needs rescuing. Paige's mom calls on the team when she finds a nuclear reactor which is about to explode. A woman who gets trapped inside needs help instantly before she dies of suffocation.

During the rescue, Walter needs to swim through the pit to get the woman out. Given Paige's feelings for Walter, Tim might get the hint that the love story between the two is far from over.

It has been reported that something even bigger is bound to happen in episode 11 which is the show's Christmas episode. Tim (Scott Porter), might leave the team which will allow Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter (Elyes Gabel) to finally start dating.

"Scorpion" season 3, episode 10 will air on Monday, Dec. 12 while episode 11 will air on Dec. 19 at 9PM in the US and 6:30PM in Australia.
